For automated alerts regarding a child's movements, users can set up geofences around key locations, receiving notifications upon entry or exit. In case of an emergency, children have the capability to send an SOS alert to all circle members.

KidControl also provides a Premium subscription option for users seeking expanded features:

Subscription details include automatic renewal unless deactivated at least 24 hours prior to the end of the billing period. Users can manage subscriptions through Account Settings in iTunes.

The app requires enabled Location Services for accurate tracking, with Wi-Fi settings enhancing precision indoors. In cases where GPS and Wi-Fi are unavailable, location is derived from GSM tower coordinates.

KidControl promotes transparency rather than covert surveillance; users must voluntarily download the app and register via an invitation code. Location sharing can be paused, and users have the option to log out or uninstall as desired.

The application is accessible from installed programs, ensuring that location sharing is contained within a single account.
